Re: Is there a better way to transfer photos to Mac?

LOL - Lois. Glad you chimed in. I use my regular iPad as a laptop now.
With a "logitech thin" keyboard it works for all my word processing needs.
I can upload directly to Wordpress from it as well. The only thing I can't
do is hard code websites (you can if you jailbreak it I'm told) I also
use the teleprompter app for shooting youtube videos and that's a big help
with some of the things I'm starting to do. While I do prefer the larger
screen of my laptop for editing etc, it is possible to do it on the iPad.
I wouldn't use a mini after using the regular one but that's my own .02
and others may love theirs.

I do like it for reading some kinds of ebooks - beach fiction for example,
but things I want to read/study are still purchased in hard-copy. There's
research buzzing around the Net now showing the learning curve and
retention is still better with paper over ebooks so I suspect the market
will continue to experiment, fragment and recombine in interesting ways.

But I couldn't resist this line, 'I'm dreading the change, not just because
of the software and OS, but
because we've had two much newer laptops die on us in the last two years."
..., Ah, would they be Windows systems? :-))
