Don't forget the 90degree offset at the end, to point the flow into nest
opening, the flashlight, the binoculars, the valve on the hose connection.
Jam the nozzle into the opening, turn on water full blast and head for
safety. This is the method I would use/will use for future encounters. You
have obviously thought it through but you still need to be extra careful
with protective gear and especially the
jacket-O-cide. If you're close enough to get the spray to do any good you
are also at risk of them taking you on with a swarm as enough of them get
past the spray unaffected to go after you. GOod thing is that I'll bet you
have only a small colony of them. I wish I had videoed those many hundreds
(a thousand?) of jackets trying to get past my closed truck window as I
rolled over their hive. That was very convincing.
