Sorry, didn't mean to be sounding testy about it. I do agree it is an
important issue and there should be a better way to handle it than was
presented. Maybe some electronic brainstorming is needed.
But I do believe most people are intelligent enough to decide for themselves
who they're going to buy from based on personal recommendations, and past
experience. One thing that should be made clear if this preferred grower
policy goes into effect is that it applies to registration compliance and
nothing else. I can see a growers concern if someone comes into this thing
two or three years down the road and assumes that a preferred grower has
something to do with the quality of what is sold.
