I will trade your basement for the culture room. We figure about $400.00 a
month to run the lights and pump the heat generated back out of the room.
Electricity is expensive.
Remember that this hybridizing game is also a numbers game. The more
seedlings you grow the better chance you will get the Hosta of the century.
I know that the Rose hybridizers figure that it takes about 10,000 seedlings
to get one plant worth even testing for introduction.
