The hosta popularity poll is published every spring in the Hosta Journal based upon the prior year's voting.  The list to which you refer was taken from the list published in the 1999 spring issue and therefore was the "1998" poll.  The "1999" results will be published in the issue of the Hosta Journal that is currently being prepared for your consumption.  Yes, I know the list, but will not scoop myself!  <VBG>
