Lu,
The people usually start setting up for the event Friday afternoon, and the
doors open up officially for the Hosta College set up at 3:30. There will
plenty of people to see and things to do then. The vendors will be setting up
(bringing in boxes and boxes of plants, etc), the book store will be stocking
the tables and the speakers will be getting their rooms ready. If you just
want to talk,or help, there is a lot going on from 3:30 to 5:00.
Then join one the groups to go out to eat quick, so you will be back at the
doors to the vending rooms (6:30- 7:30 to 10:00pm) so when they open, you can
get the best deals, and talk to the growers. Also, the hospitality area will
be open Friday evening until 10:00pm.
