Re: New Virus/ how to get rid of...

Hi all I recieved this as a way to get rid of the virus...If you get it.
Hope it helps...

There is a virus called anna kornikova that has caused some consern.  Some
virus protection software are missing it.  Thats because it is not a true
virus.  It does not replicate itself.

This file is an excel macro.  To see if you have been infected take the
following steps.

1.  Do a find folder search (select start; select find/search; select files
or folders)

2. in the search for dialouge box type in the following:

3.  if it is present on your hardrive it will be shown as annakornova.jpg.vbs

4 if it is present then close find file/folder.  and do a ctrl+alt+del.

5. Select the program

then select "End Task"

6 repeat steps one and two

7 select the annakornova file and hit delete key

8 empty your recycle bin.
