Of course, if you take this out of context, it will sound REAL nasty.  Please
include my ENTIRE statement if you are going to quote me.   However, you will not
find me very sympathetic when the student is simply trying to get out of doing their
homework.  I was the student whom my college mates loved to hate because while they
were out drinking and carousing around, I was home studying so that I could ace the
test.  So yes Bob, I would be one of the first to get kicked off the island and
maybe not even missed <g>.  In the meantime, however, the rest of the statement more
humanely clarifies my point and I hope you took time to read it...

Went all the way through undergraduate college with a slide rule, not knowing how to
work those fancy new calculators. The world's been changing pretty darn quick.  It's
hard keeping up, but it's not fair to criticize those who are busy doing their
homework so that CAN keep up...
