new books

Hi All,

Just wanted to share a couple new books you may or may not know
about--customer gave us a gift certificate to amazon.com so of course we
went there right away and found a couple we had not heard of--anything with
Hosta in the title has to be on the coffee table...

Hostas and other Shade-loving Plants by Richard Bird and David Tarrant--
nice photos with emphasis on Hostas but lots of other shade plant info and
ideas of how to mix them--would be a good quick reference for a newer shade
gardener or just a quick idea--talks about light and soil and lots of good
info (not heavy research reading) and it was only $13.00

the other was Hostas-The New Plant Library--hardback...nice photos...good
beginners book by Andrew Mikolajski consulted by Diana Grenfell and only
$7.00 (you can't beat it)

Both came in two days
