Here's the answer, like Chick said a while ago:

 1oz to 1000 oz = 1 to 1000 (diluted to)

1 ml to 1000 ml = 1 to 1000 (diluted to)

1 cup to 1000 cups = 1 to 1000 (diluted to

1 drop to 1000 drops = 1 to 1000 (not as accurate as the others, but
probably good enough  (diluted to)

If you dilute 10 cups of coolaid up to a volume of 100 cups with water
you have a solution that is 10% coolaid

Gets complicated after that.  JML
