I just found some information on the Internet for a company called
_www.waipuna.com_ (http://www.waipuna.com) that has developed a portable hot water
treatment system for killing weeds without poison. They can apply large
quantities of water up to boiling temperatures. They can also apply a foam mix.
You can learn more from their web site. This was invented in New Zealand and
is now being marketed world wide. At first glance, this seems like the
most promising technology I have seen but I have not done any additional
research.
