| Yes, the virus can and will spread, it just needs a vector or means of
| transmission. Taking a guess, slugs might be a mode of transmission, in
other
| plants those insects that feed on the sap of plants are vectors for viral
| transmission.
| Should the plants be destroyed-if virus infected-yes.
| I am sure that there are many different viruses that infect Hosta, but few
| effect appearance and growth, those that do should be eliminated from our
| plants as soon as they are determined.
