Hi everyone
Someone asked me how do you change file associations. I wrote out these
quick directions and someone else might need them. Then when you click
on a filename the file will open in the program you want. Another one
that a person can't live without is copy and paste, you are definitely
doing things the hard way if you don't know how to do that.
Highlight the file you want to change, then hold down your
shift key and right click. It will have a selection called "open with" ,
then you can select what you want and check the box that says you want
to use this program all the time. The other way is to go to windows
explorer>view>folder options>file types and delete the association there
and then when you click on a file it will ask what you want to open it
with and you make your selection.
