Thanks, Andi.  I'll try that.  Matter of fact, I just unchecked it.  I had downloaded the newest IE in an effort to get rid of Mozilla, which I had tried in a fit of despair, and it was doing things I didn't want it to do.
 
This computer simply doesn't have enough RAM to run Mozilla and I'm on the fence about a new computer.
