Working a budget spreadsheet sounds way to complicated unless your
spending thousands a year. My system works great. I look at plant, decide
if I want it. I check the price, do I really want it? Think over what I
have to spend. If that fails, I ask Julie!!
I do keep a database of the plants I own. I use Claris Works. Fields are Name,
introducer + year, average value, brief description, flower color and where +
when purchased.
