Hi!
This is a reminder about the HOSTA SHOW this coming Sunday, July 1,2001.
We hope to show the public lots of HOSTA CUT LEAVES and BLOOM scapes.
If you'd like to exhibit (anyone is welcome!) start early!
We learned at the WORKSHOP yesterday that the CUT LEAVES will remain
fresh in water for several days -- start looking now!
All the supplies you'll need will be available at the Show. (But bring a
lawn chair!)
ALL EXHIBITS MUST BE ACCEPTED BY THE CLASSIFICATION CHAIR BEFORE 10:30
AM!
Judging starts at 11AM, and the Show will be open to the public at 1 PM.
Also at 1 PM, Harry Abel will talk about BONSAI HOSTA!
At 2 PM is an exciting AUCTION! (donations welcome!)
At 3 PM WNYHS will hold CLINIC II for judges and curious folks.
Some FABULOUS VENDORS will have Japanese - related items available and
The Sushi Guy will again offer lunches.
If you'd like to help set up or tear down, please come around 7 AM.
Lots of fun and education are GUARANTEED!!
