Ann,

I mix hostas and azaleas in most of my beds, mostly because I have had the azaleas for years and don't want to miss the spring blooming that they give.  I started planting hostas a few years back, and have learned that they like the same pH and basically the same conditions as azaleas.

Enjoy them both!
