Pat, I am SO glad you wrote this. Being somebody who uses the computer as a word processor, the database has been something which has always seemed beyond an arm's length for me. I will attempt to learn this again as I can only imagine the work involved in putting it together and the amount of info here. I just need to stretch my brain a bit (or lot) more. Like your person's comment, I have not found the magic key to accessing it. Sandra

Did you know if you enter the statement IV in the "Leaf Color" field of the
Searchable Database, 603 hosta files with Irregular Variegation (streaky,
etc.) will display automatically? If you enter 1 (meaning yes) in one of
the fields such as "Slug Resistant" or "Sun Resistant" you will display 208
hosta records (for slug resistant). This database does what the name implies,
SEARCHES. I have been getting some feedback that this information is sitting
there for all to access but few know how to SEARCH. Scroll down to the bottom
of the page after opening the "Searchable Database" and read the hints or
choices needed to complete your successful search's. It is all at your finger
tips!
