the hosta montana f. macrophylla is the proper name for this hosta
species. It is a sub-species, I believe, that was previously thought to
be a cultivar, and was called montana 'Praeflorens'.
I just bought one this year from Jim's Hostas in Iowa. Wow! What a
fantastic plant!
