Unfortunatly, you are right. I guess if it could be left at that , our
industry could stand it. Trouble is those plants get split and traded,
they make their way back into circulation time after time. It should be
the duty of the national and local Hosta Societies, to carry on a strong
education effort, so when folks spend their money, even if it is for less
expensive Hostas, they are getting "true" plants.
