Hi Joanne (and others):

You mentioned that, after having Great Expectations for three years, you'd
like a second division. I've had GE for five years and only gained a first
division last week. I was told it was a slow-grower, but this is really
slow. The plant is supposed to "live up to its name," but I've grown very
impatient in my great expectation of this beautiful hosta. I made the
division just to have a second plant. Now I supposed I'll have to wait
several years before it reaches any size worth its name. After five years,
the original plant remains small.
