OH NO!! You should have left the division where it was! You may actually
slowed the growth of your 'GE' even more. Now your plant has to overcome the
shock of the division before it can continue to grow and prosper. I have had
mine for 3 years now and it has another division at the base. I am confident
that it will grow good this year. Last year, I also had another shoot
emerging, but that was late in the summer after the plant had already
flowered.
My favorites:
For color- 'Great Expectations,' 'June,' and 'Aristocrat'
For uniqueness- 'Tattoo,' and montana 'Kinkaku'
Bad ones: 'Summer Music,' 'Wheaton Blue.'
Good growth rate: 'Shade Fanfare,' 'Wide Brim,' 'Fringe Beneift,' 'Guacamole.'
