Re: frost bitten hosta

Judy, last year we went out and dumped a big mound of pine needles around the 
plant and then a mound on top.  It was my first year to worry about the 
frosted leaves of my hosta plants, this worked great.  At this time of the 
year you can expect a few more weeks of frost, at least another six weeks 
here so for us it is too early to worry about it.  Narda
