guess I don't get this, Paula. I have a cruddy memory and frequently
re-re-recheck my labels. Why is the requirement to dig up the plant a wise
idea??

Who saw at the very begining of my Hosta gardening,
That this was more than just a passing curiosity, gave me a piece of advice.
Bury a label with the plants name on it...under it. That way if you ever lose
the name all you have to do it dig it up, to find out which it is.
