How many dollars?  Can we get that into triple digit?  I see some nice new Hostas being added to my collection if your wager is for American dollars.  :-)

I'm not a prude; a far cry from it.  However, I'm trying to keep up with a HOSTA-OPEN not a free sex jokes channel.  While some of the jokes yesterday were cute, I think if a member is going to post a message publicly, some discretion is in order.  There are ladies on this forum, believe it or not, and there might even be children (is there anything that stops them from joining?).  I'm trying to think of what my daughter in college would think of our group if she just happened onto the list and saw this post as her very first exposure to a "Hosta Discussion Group".   Have we degenerated so much as a race that we refuse to keep the locker room talk IN the locker room?   Maybe so, I don't know.

As for me, I'd rather see a lot more indepth discussion about Hostas and the racey stuff be posted to a web site someplace.  (I created one and it could use some new posts.  I would likely NOT censure them--that's WHY this area is labeled "jokes and other nonsense".  http://dev.hostahaven.com/discus/messages/37/37.html?977191206  but even here, I keep a filter in place to help keep the language cleaned up a bit.

If Jim wants to send a tag on the end of a message that says, "don't forget to check out my new off-color jokes that I just posted at www.lotsofsmut.com" that would be fine.  Heck, I might even cruise on over there and peruse them now and then myself, in a weaker moment.

But the "in your face" raw sex comedy?  I'd rather we spent more time on Hostas...  and leave the lust to the other sites designed to draw that kind of attention.
