This is the first time I can ever remember the blue bells freezing.  They did last week.

Thanks to all for the advice.  I kept telling myself that they will return this morning when I cut clump after clump.  What a mess......but the Virginia Bluebells are up and beautiful, hellebores are having a wonderful year, and the Bloodroot survived the freeze. I will just have to focus on the survivors while the others recover. Thanks again,Judy in VA
Mary and all: I am going to be at Duke Univ. in NC the week of April 11-18. Will there be hostas to see? I ask because here on the  ND/MN border, our snow is just melting and only the bravest, most-protected  tulips are just beginning to send up foliage. It will be end of May before we see our hosta pips. If you have no more cold temps or unexpected freezes, can I expect to visit some hosta gardens? Kis
