Re: Crown Rot


Jim,
I have had a few problems with crown rot and it was suggested to me that 
Truban was the most effective fungicide for dealing with the problem.  Used 
as a soil drench it has probably saved 50% of infected plants. If the problem 
persists I dicard the plant, excavant the soil down 12 inches with about a 2 
ft. diameter and replant.  So far have not had a problem with reinfecting new 
plants.
