None at all on 'Sum It Up', which is practically in full sun, with no supplemental water. Yes on 'Super Nova' (no surprise, there!) and 'Lemon Meringue', although LM is in too much sun; my trees aren't leafed out fully yet.

"Spring Desiccation Burn" is the term Mark Zilis uses in his book, "The Hosta Handbook," page 593.  The most common example is the "burning" of the gold leaf portions of H. 'Frances Williams' that often occurs in spring.
