Re: same hosta different plant


Chris,
Perhaps the plant that you purchased for the church was grown in different
light conditions, and therefore looks different from your plant which has
grown in your yard.  L:ight differences make a huge difference at our
house: deep, deep shade vs. all day filtered light makes a hosta actually
look like a different cultivar.

You also have to really watch out for unstability in 'Striptease'; I saw
about 80% at a local nursery were all green, or had all green shoots on the
sides.
