On many of your observations I agree. ( frightening isn't it) I suspect
that much of the pro Bush vote is really anti Gore. I do think you can tell
a lot about how a team will behave when you see tham under stress. That is
exactly where the Democrat team finds themselves right now. I am carefully
watching, how BOTH sides conduct their behaviour in this. I think if we
keep our eyes open , we will learn a lot!
