are not aware that more people in our great country voted for the Vice
President than your candidate, or doesn't that matter to you?
 
 

The popular vote you are referring to is national I believe.

Dearest John Lanier,  IF our system ran on the popular vote, you would not have heard a peep out of me.  I don't believe in changing the rules as the game is played.  In the original vote in Florida Bush won.  In the recount in Florida, Bush won.  After hand counts, Bush won.  That too could be construed as a popular vote which gave electoral votes to Bush which made him president with the majority of electoral votes.  After Bush won and by the way is still ahead in FL that gave him the required electoral votes to become president.  Gore does not have the electoral votes to be president and you want him to be appointed?  Then comes gore trying to manufacture votes to change the result in Florida so he can be president.  He is trying to change the system, after he lost, that our country was founded on.  Our America has grown to greatness through this system.  I am fighting as much for the system as I am to eliminate  voter fraud.
