A really easy and cheap way (if you have a laser printer) to make labels
uses the clear laser labels from Avery. Print on them using your favorite
word processing program, in your favorite font, and stick them onto the
flat metal markers available from Paw-Paw or any garden center. They have
lasted over three years in my zone 5 garden with no sign of deterioration.
