question to anyone in the know is: will the
little feeder roots of the maple rise to the surface of my raised
garden and continue choking out my plants?
They will fill that good raised bed within a year or two. I've done the
same thing you want to and have tried to live with it as it's my only
shade but I think it must go . Just strangles the hosta.
