Re: Cutting back perennieals--& Oak Leaves


Let the leaves remain on the beds.  It makes a great mulch, and will 
decompose before you know it.  You'll wonder where they went.  Great way 
to improve the soil.  I've been doing it for 9 years.  Don't pile them 
on top of the Hostas, but around them.
