Sun Burned Hostas

I have both wide brim and patriot and I don't have a problem with burned edges
with these plants.  I have an area that is only2-3 hours of direct sunlight
the rest shade all day.  I plant with an abundance of organic matter and cow
manure.  I do have problems with burned edges on other plants like montana
aureomarginata, gold standard once leaves go lighter, montana mountain snow.
