Bob,
You might also  try H. 'Piedmont Gold' . The orthodoxy was that PG HAD to be
grown in shade; however, it does better in "partial sun." AND, I have seen it
in bloom with flowers that are 5" in diameter, in situations where it received
a lot of sun.
