Clyde:
In my experience the larger bulbs, tulips, hyacinths and daffodils do OK
amoung hostas or other perennials. However the smaller bulbs multiplied so
rapidly that they took over the bed. Bulbs such as scilla, crocus, chionodoxa,
grape hyacinth or star of Bethlehem choke out the other plants, but they look
beautiful doing it.
