Check out this link to our tree care website. We have lots of information on trees and tree roots that Alex Keenan was kind enough to let us post.

Subject: small trees/archives

Hi,

Hi, I've just finished construction on a new home and want to put in some
small trees in the garden areas. Two that have been suggested are pagoda
dogwood, & leatherwood. They both look interesting but I am unable to find
information on how invasive their root systems may or may not be.

I know this has been discussed in the past, but I'm unable to find my way to
the archives. If anyone could offer some information on these, suggestions on
some others, or directions to the archives it would really be appreciated. I
am in zone 4.

Thanks,

Layne
