There is hardly any disagreement about the scientist about the
number of 23 species Only amateurs have that problem. Of course
when in doubt species names must not be used. I agree that
seedlings even if they seem good species should have only a
cultivar name. However there are many cases were a sport of a
species is just given a cultivar name That really is a loss of
information
