blue on blue
The blue of a leaf is due to a wax coating in the outer layer If it
is present it is always on th ewhole leaf If the dge is yek loow the
wax makes the yelow dull but it is not absent. The same reason it
seems inpossible to have a blue plant with a shiny green edge
although if you have a greenish-yellow edge the wax makes it look
nearly green
