[IGSROBIN] Hurrah for nice mother-in-laws

Hi all,
Just wanted to share something nice geranium-related with you all.
My NICE mom-in-law has the habit of occasionally giving her three
children presents, so this time my hubby (her son) and I had our turn,
so she went with us to this wonderufl specialised hardy plants nursery
over here, De Hessenhof at the Hessenweg in Ede Holland that is well
known for its good collection of hardy geraniums. We could spent over
US$ 100 of plants worth and as you know that the average plant there
costs US$ 2-3 you will understand it meant a nice expansion of my
collection and the emptied front left border in our garden now is filled
up with them and I still have to find more spots in the back garden to
get the remainder well planted!
In fall I then make divisions of the plants again and bring them to her
place and put them in. She has told her gardener in the mean time to
leave my efforts alone - he is a rather old fashioned guy who believes
gardens should stay formal and strict and does not like the English
cottage-style so had to get used to "weaving" Geraniums last time I did
it, and her garden started looking a wee bit different...<g>
