Hi Ed,
=20
I have a paper copy of Cliff's notes from last years conference in =
Adelaide
entitled "The continuing story of the Pelargonium x Zonartic Hybrids", =
which
I would be happy to send you.
=20
I have also heard via Andrew Simmons that a hybridizer he knows claims =
to
have raised a plant with two blue petals, I don't have details on the
parentage but Andrew is a member of the Robin and the PeliBreeder Forum =
so
maybe he will enlighten us.
=20
Kind Regards
=20

Ed,
There is an article in this issue of GATW that continues Cliff's story =
about
his quest for Zonartic that is quite extensive.
I was at the conference in Canberra in 1999 but we were not given any
handouts. They said printed copies of his talk would be made available
later but I have never seen them but from what is in the GATW I think =
this
is far better explained than what was done at the Conference because =
Cliff
had a strict timeframe there and could only touch on each section of his
extensive work.

Hi everyone-
I apologize for the cross posting.
I received a request from a college student in Alaska. She's taking a=20
genetics class and is trying to get ahold of information on any =
attempts
to produce=20
yellow or blue flowered zonals.=20
She's also looking for a copies of any articles written by or about =
Cliff=20
Blackman, and his attempts to produce his yellow -flowered zonal =
hybrid.
In=20
particular, she would like to get a copy of Cliff Blackman's =
presentation
titled=20
"Following the Yellow (Brick) Road"- from the International =
Pelargonium
and=20
Geranium Conference (Oct. 24, 1999).=20
I'll send her what I have, but I'm hoping others can fill in the =
blanks.
Can=20
anyone help?
On a related topic, someone on the PelBreederForum is looking for a=20
blue-flowered P. quinqulobatum, which is reported to be from Somalia. =
Has
anyone seen=20
or have access to this plant?
Ed
