Hi dear people on the list,
I too suffer from time to time from that white mold regardless if the
'soil' is kept damp or not.. Smothering with sand as Dale suggests works
very well. Or..I sometimes just scratch a little on the surface with a pen.
It won't go away but it takes some time before it comes back.
But if this occurs in your seed flats, then you should sound the Red Alert
and treat it with an appropriate fungicide.
