Re: Pelargonium 'Vixen'

The only reference I found was to 'Vixen' in the Spalding list:

"Rose macule lanc et pointille de carmin.  Origin:  Gorbeaux.  Los Geraniums"


Since 'Black Vixen' does not appear in the Register of Pelargonium Cultivar
Names, which was printed in 1978, is it safe to assume that it is post-1978?
