 Great info. I suggested the idea of a planning fund in one of my Blue Sky
posts. No one seemed interested, probably because any donation would not be
tax deductible.

Maybe, after learning how another society handles this, the interest might
grow. It can be done! My offer to donate to a planning fund still stands. Of
course, we should expect that it could only be used for new projects.
