Regarding books & catalogs that carry many pictures & much description:
Bill Munson has a spectacular book out, loaded with color pictures, which also covers some history & lots of descriptions.
In regards to catalogs, etc, I can recommend the following:
OAKES Daylilies
Gilbert H. Wild & Sons.
Klehm Nurseries
Daylily World
Dave Talbot Nurseries
I also heartily recommend the American Hemerocalis Society magazine.
In addition, there are now CD-Roms being published that are dedicated to daylilies & contain hundreds of varieties, with both color pictures & descriptions.
Also some breeders have a video of their own & others cultivars. You can oftern purchase a copoy from them.
