>Hi Jan: You do recognize me from the Iris-talk list. From what you
say there must not be many members. Not like our Iris-talk. Are you
into daylillys?
Hi Zelma, and now Ann Henson is out there too. I subscribed here to
learn a bit more about Daylilies, which I started buying when I saw them
in Barry Blyth's and Graeme Grosvenors Iris catalogues. I had always
thought they were more suitable to warmer winter areas, but they grow
like weeds here, and flower prolifically. I have about 40 cv's and
started growing them about 18 months ago. I haven't tried hybridising
them. They are supposed to self pollenate readily, but none of mine did
last season.
Perhaps we should make an effort to get things rolling here, and see if
others join in? I think the idea of a Bio, introducing ourselves, like
on iris-talk, is a good way to start. I'll post mine tomorrow.
Cheers, Jan Clark, in Australia
