    A watermark is a faint halo around the throat area. it is visible, but looks
like a painter's wash of color, lightly emerging outward from its source.

    A watermark can be around the throat by itself or can be emerging from an
eye or band.

    An eye is a solid center around the throat. it can be normally sized, or
very wide.

    A very narrow eye is called a band.
