Hi all,
Anne, If your heating mat is the same as mine, you'll love it! I have had
mine for three years now. It is about 3' (?) long, black, and has a very
open metal frame over it to set planting trays. I have it in the
greenhouse to start summer veggies and flowers, but I have brought it in
the house and set it up in the laundry room under fluorescent lights. What
I'd really like is two of them!! I use it for seed starting, rooting
azaleas and rhodies and whatever else I can find to get growing.
I ordered it from Nichols Nursery in Albany, OR. (One of my favorite
places to order seeds and to visit, too) but I have seen them in other
catalogs.
Dolly in SW Washington (heavy clay soil, too! shall we blame it on the
Columbia river??)
