Hi, I finally found the booklet I was looking for. The Royal national
Institute for the Blind published a booklet _Gardening without Sight_ by
Kathleen Fleet, 1982.
I made a copy of a friend's copy, so I'm not sure of a source. The address
for the RNIB in 1982 was
Royal National Institute for the Blind, 224 Great Portland St. , London W1N 6AA
England
It has lots of good information and suggestions.
